Dr. Delfino earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland in 2000; his MBA in Healthcare Policy and Management from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, in 2004; his MD from Tulane University School of Medicine in 2010; and completed his Family MedicineResidency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2013.

Dr. Delfino has earned numerous awards including the 2019 Champion of Practice Transformation given by the South Carolina Primary Healthcare Association for his work in establishing a state-wide vasectomy program. He is currently affiliated with the American Academy of Family Physicians and the South Carolina Academy of Family Physicians.
