I have been in family practice for 37 years but only learnt to do vasectomies 5 years ago as an extra skill to help my patients.This allows our practice to offer contraception services to the men as well as the women in our practice. It was also a new challenge in my life to learn a completely different skill to my usual physician skills and I have really enjoyed that.
